Note 1: Sequence of courses may be altered with advisor’s approval. A total of 27 credits in Spanish at the 202 level and/or above are required.

Note 2: Students must study abroad in a Spanish-speaking country for a minimum of 8 weeks (10 weeks recommended) and can be done any summer after sophomore year to allow for the option of a semester in France. Medical outreach service in the Dominican Republic can count towards the 8 week minimum of study abroad for Health Science majors.

Note 3: SPCH 103 (Fundamentals of Public Speaking) is highly recommended; may replace a “Free Elective”. If students use a major/collateral course toward a GETM category, must replace with free elective(s).
