PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Reporting to the Stores Team Leader ensuring that all daily operational tasks within the warehouse are executed in line with the best practice methodology as defined by the Stores Team Leader.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. / Controlled Material / finished Product Flow-thru
Maintain a controlled flow of finished stock & pallet replenishment to & from production and adequate supply of packaging & raw materials into all predefined areas.
2. / Receipt Management
Perform receipt & unloading of all raw material and packaging from suppliers, including empty pallets, in preparation for delivery to production areas. Ensure the correct out putting & wrapping of all pallets & correct identification of all pallets.
3. / Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures – Follow Standard Work
Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, WES and 5’s Standards within the warehouse to deliver on KPI’s for the role
4. / Load Stock
Loading all stock to vehicles in an accurate, safe and timely manner and monitoring of all vehicles against technical standards
5. / Update SAP
Operate accurately SAP in the execution of your duties
6. / Health and Safety
Adherence to Health and Safety Procedures within the warehouse and escalation of issues in noncompliance to the Stores Team Leader
7. / Mechanical Handling Equipment
Operate MHE as appropriate in a safe and effective manner. Conduct vehicle condition inspections. Conduct racking inspections.
8. / Quality Control
Perform all Raw Material / Packaging / Finished Goods Inspection / Sample Testing as per standards and record results. Maintain record keeping of all Material movement against required standard.Operate a ‘clean as you go’ mentality
9. / Stocktaking
Conduct daily cycle counts within relevant storage locations

SPECIFIC SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Essential / Desirable
Education / Proficient written, numerical and verbal skills
MHE : Certified license for pallet truck,counter balance
Fluency of English language (Oral and Written) / MHE : Certified license for Reach truck and Shunter
Full driving license
Technical / Ability to complete required standard work at required pace
1 years’ experience of working in a fast paced stores rolewithin manufacturing
Computer literate / Food Manufacturing experience
SAP experience
