Are you passionate about the environment?
Do you want to make a difference with what you do?

With Countdown 2010 you can. Biodiversity is at the heart of our activities, and more than 900 partners from all over the world work with us to halt its loss. Hosted by the Regional Office for Europe of IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature), the initiative reaches out to governments and local authorities, non-governmental organizations and private businesses.

In the next few months we face great challenges and opportunities, such as the upcoming UN International Year of Biodiversity in 2010.
