Summative Performance Task

“A photograph or illustration may be used in its entirety but no more than five images by an artist or photographer may be reproduced; or if part of a collection (online too), only 10% of the collection.” (Fair Use Stanford.edu)

You are to create a photographic journey of the Dust Bowl period in American History. You will locate at least 6 photographs taken during the Dust Bowl period in American History from selected web sites. The photographs can be of any subject related to the Dust Bowl and should be varied. Copy and cite the photograph on a PowerPoint slide (one photograph and citation per slide). Please include a title slide in the beginning with your name and class period listed.

Please include the photographer’s name (if given), year photo taken, title or description of photograph, and who owns the copyright of the photographs (same as web site name) and URL where you found the photograph. Place the citation under the photograph following the correct format. You may enter your photograph citations into Noodletools.com and then copy and paste the citation onto your slide.
