The use of abrasive or alkaline cleaning agents and household cleaners is not recommended.

The skylight must not be cleaned when its surface is dry.

Avoid cleaning the skylights at higher temperatures.

The opening frame has to be cleaned occasionally. Use a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaning agent. Do not use caustic cleaners or coarse cloths, because they can permanently damage the surface and structure of the product.

Never wipe filth off the frame when dry.

Cleaning and Caring for the Seals

In order to ensure the permanent functionality and aesthetic durability of the seals one must ensure their regular and professional impeccable care and maintenance.

· In order to preserve the flexibility of TPE seals on the opening frames, they must be occasionally wiped with a cloth and coated with talc.

· For the preservation of EPDM seals, however, it is best to clean them with a cloth and occasionally coat them with an appropriate rubber care product.

Such maintenance procedures prevent the seal from freezing onto the base on colder days. Seals should be cleaned only with mild soapy water or water alone.
