Responsibilities:
- To install, configure, update and secure Linux servers

Technical Skills
- Advanced knowledge of server operating systems particularly Linux/Unix
- Hands on experience in virtualization and cloud technologies
- Hands on knowledge of building and configuring database servers, particularly PostgreSQL servers
- Manage organizational CRM and issue tracking systems like Mantis, OTRS and Redmine etc.
- Hands on demonstrable experience of Linux/Unix Shell Scripting
- Experience of scheduling backups and optimizing performance of PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of implementing security measures and policies on Windows and Linux servers
- At least two years work experience in medium data centers
Requirements:
- An MSc/BS (16 years education) in Computer Science/IT from an HEC recognized university;
- At least 6 years of relevant experience along-with 2 years work experience in data centres;
- Certification in System Administration (Solaris/Red Hat) would be a plus.

Deputy Manager ERP
Position=1
Responsibilities:
- Collecting, understanding, and transmitting the business requirements into functional OpenERP Modules;
- Documenting workflows/ Reports and results of business analysis and obtain sign-off from client on the specifications;
- Manage Project Efficiently and assist higher management
- Day to day management of change requests in relation to the project plans to ensure agreed deadlines are met; and
- Weekly reports to be produced for the project manager showing progress against outstanding milestones, status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies.
- Documenting training requirements of the users and coordinating their training.
- Supporting the users during and after the implementation.
- Any ERP related task specified time to time by direct management.
Requirements:
- An MSc/BS (16 years education) in Computer Science/IT from an accredited University/institute;

- Experience of analyzing and documenting complex business processes of Campus Management System, Financial Accounting System, HR & Payroll System, Purchase and Sales System;
- Development experience of Campus Management System
- Experience of writing requirements specifications for above mentioned Information Systems;
- A proven track record in Functional Analysis, Design and Gap analysis; and
- Can manage project resources deliver output on time.

Assistant Programmer

Assistant Manager (Office of Students Financial Assistance)
Position=1
Responsibilities:
To efficiently implement financial aid / grants programs by bringing transparency in major financial aid, scholarships and student loans programmes HEC, USAID, French Govt, FEF, FATA Secretariat, Meezan Bank Limited, Workers Welfare Board and IMSciences own institutional scholarship programmes. This position also requires distinctive outreach communication skills to assure the provision of equal opportunities of higher education to underprivileged students from FATA, Malakand Division, Gilgit & Baltistan, other remote districts of Khyber Pukhtunkhwa and whole Pakistan at large. In detail the position will require the following roles and responsibilities.
- Actively respond to Scholarship Management Unit (SMU) - HEC Islamabad, regarding monthly and quarterly reports of financial aid / scholarship programs.
- Actively communicate and share tentative meetings schedule, scholarship procedures and minutes of committee meetings with Institutional Scholarship Committee, IMSciences.
- Assists Grants Office in policy making, planning, goal setting, and evaluation of the financial aid process.
- Actively participate in development of Outreach and Communication Strategies, Marketing of the financial aid programmes.
- Implement the HEC/Donor provided procedures of Recruitment, Evaluation and Selection of the most deserving students according to the objectives of the scholarship programmes.
- Review and analyze difficult financial aid applications referred by subordinate staff to determine best solution and decide eligibility for award.
- Prepares information and presentations to present at meetings at IMSciences, HEC, Donor Agencies, discussion groups or workshops for students, parents, staff, community organizations and/or outside agencies.
- Recommend, develop and implement policies and procedures responsive to changing program regulations.
- Create action plans to implement the HEC and Federal Government suggested improvements.
- Ensure the security of financial aid applications, documents, and systems.
- Responsible for the administration and reconciliation of Financial Aid programs in coordination with all functional departments of IMSciences.
- Prepare and submit annual reports, success stories and details for newsletter to the IMSciences Peshawar.
Requirements:
- Sixteen years education in relevant degree/BBA/BBS/MBA/MPA (preferably in Finance) from an HEC recognized university/institute with minimum three years of experience in policies, procedures, regulations and criteria for award of scholarships and marketing strategies of financial assistance programmes at Grants offices/universities/DAIs/Financial Institutions/non-profit organizations with preferably educational mission.Must have at least 2 year of OpenERP functional & technical and 6 years overall relevant work experience

Assistant Manager (Office of Development and Advancement)

Responsibilities:
The Assistant Manager (Office of Development and Advancement) will initiate and strengthen the relationship between the Institute and Corporations, Businesses and Foundations by assessing the mutual interests and opportunities of collaboration, which will lead both sides to the best utilization of existing facilities, educational advancement and corporate social responsibility initiatives. The role focuses on investment in higher education through different channels e.g. faculty development, financial aid, scholarships, campus development and research funding. In detail the position will require the following roles and responsibilities.
- Actively respond to HEC Advancement / Development Department, regarding monthly and quarterly reports of Advancement and Development programs at IMSciences.
- To engage Donors in momentous interactions that attain pride, advocacy, public and private support for the institute of Management Sciences by building long lasting, trust-based relationship, both internally and externally. These recognition procedures will be in compliance with the overarching goal of the IMSciences Advancement and development program to maintain a sustainable fund raising mechanism.
- To highlight the significance of fundraising and collaborative responsibility of corporate sector, national and international and fund raising organizations for the cause of equal access to higher education.
- To develop the IMSciences Alumni Association (IAA), that is an eternal bond between the Institute and its family of alumni across the national and international borders, and to commit them to the Institute’s mission of lifelong learning.
- Support fund-raising initiatives from Institute’s stakeholders on national and international level.
- Actively participate in procedures to ensure the integrity and security of database information.
- Continuously improve the quality of alumni and donor data.
- Ensure compliance with fundraising policies, goals and procedures.
- Identify, develop, implement and maintain database policies and procedures, related to all fundraising activities.
- Produce targeted mailing lists for communications, solicitations, invitations, etc., for IMSciences Advancement staff and for other constituents Institute-wide.
- Interface with finance department and general-ledger accounting staff regarding donations entry, endowment fund and audit reporting.
- Create complex documents, reports, correspondence, and other research materials for senior management and IMSciences Advancement / Development committee, to support fundraising efforts.
- Manage departmental calendar of activities and deadlines.
- Work closely with Financial Aid / Grants Office, Career Development Center and Program staff to expand fundraising opportunities
- Create and execute high-level special events to assure beneficial donor relationship.
Required Education, Skills and Abilities
- Sixteen years education in relevant degree/BBA/BBS/MBA/MPA (preferably in Marketing) with minimum three years of experience in fundraising, resource mobilization at universities/DAIs/professional organizations/non-profit organizations with preferably educational mission.
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Windows XP, Windows 07 and other packages required by the supervisor.
- Proficiency in communication, writing and speaking skills.

Junior Officer (HR)

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Establishment Section in administering employment processes; and perform related work as assigned.
- Keep record of applications for employment through email as well as on postal addresses;
- Under supervision of Coordinator Establishment coordinate with relevant sections in order to shortlist, create and maintain eligible lists and present eligible candidates for hiring authority interview;
- Maintain and update employee personal files for regular/contractual employees in the Campus Management Solution along-with physical record keeping
- Enter and track performance review dates and generate notices to coordinators and supervisors for evaluation of staff and faculty
- Support the Coordinator Establishment in management of meetings, minutes recording and other activities of internal as well as statutory bodies meetings
