1 Students
Insignia Student Information System comes with web portal that allows student to view relevant information over the web. To gain access to Insignia via the web from home:
- Type in the following link http://isis.acsedu.org/isis/
- The login page will come up
3. Save as a bookmark
4. The user name is the student’s first name.last name. Each student in a family has a separate log on .
5. The password is acslions – Be sure and change your password as soon as you log on the first time.
Following information is available to students online:
1. Grades
2. Assignments
3. Transcripts
4. Class Schedule
5. Reset Password
2 Change Password
To change your password:
1. Click on the Reset Password icon.
2. Enter the old password, new password and confirm password.
3. If you forget your password contact Mrs. Wells () for a password reset. Mrs. Wells will reset the password to “acslions” so you can access the program and set a new password.
3 Grades
To see your student’s grades:
1. Log on
2. Click on Grading icon
3. You can sort the grades by subject or term by putting your cursor on the gray column title and clicking. Sorting by term makes it a little easier to view all of a student’s current grades.
4. When you click on the gray box next to the section title you will see individual assignments in the lower half of the screen. These are the individual assignments and their grades that factored into the grade average for the course. If for some reason you do not see assignments in the bottom half of the screen. Please contact the secondary or elementary office so we can follow through with the teacher. Sometimes the teacher forgets to make the assignment “visible to parent” in their program. If an assignment is listed but there is not grade listed then the assignment was not completed but the teacher did not count the assignment against the student. An assignment listed with a grade of “0” usually means that the assignment was not completed and turned in.
4 Assignments
To see the assignments:
1. Click on Assignment icon
2. Listed are any assignments that the teacher has entered into the system but has not graded. You can sort a particular column by clicking on the column title.
5 Schedule
To see the Class Schedule:
1. Click on Schedule icon
2. You can see the courses that your student is enrolled in as well as the teacher’s name and class period. Each teacher’s e-mail address is first initial last , should you wish to contact a teacher via e-mail. (example: )
6 Transcripts
1. Click on Transcripts icon. You will see the final grade your student earned for the school year selected in the dropdown menu. The grades you view are a cumulative average of the entire year. This is not an official transcript, nor is it in the proper form for submission to another school. The credit posting on this screen is not always accurate. Please contact either the elementary or secondary office if you need a copy of your student’s transcripts.
*Note: ACS does not use the course request option.
