EARLY CAREER RESEARCH AWARD
DESCRIPTION OF AWARD
The purpose of this award is to recognize research which exhibits excellence and innovation contributing to the scientific basis of Triple P. The award will serve as recognition of outstanding contribution to research in the Triple P system.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Anyone who wishes to be considered for the prize should write a 1-page summary document briefly addressing the following:
§ What is the research question being addressed and what was the state of knowledge on this issue before the research?
§ What was the research design and methodology?
§ What were the findings? How does this research contribute to the state of knowledge?
AWARD ELIGIBILITY
An organisation, supervisor, or colleague can nominate a researcher for the award. Anyone conducting research, up to 3 years post-graduate (including graduate studies), that contributes to the scientific basis of the Triple P system is eligible for this award.
AWARD DESCRIPTION
The recipient of this award shall receive a specially designed plaque and a selection of Triple P materials. In addition, the recipient will receive recognition at the Helping Families Change Conference.
NOMINATION COMPLETION AND SUBMISSION
All nominations must be fully completed and submitted to the Parenting and Family Support Centre by the nomination deadline in order for the nominee to be considered as a candidate for the award. To complete the nomination, please submit the nomination form by 30th October 2017, by email to: .
