ICT: Touch Typing: Beginners
Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone who wants to learn how to type or improve their existing keyboard skills to become more proficient in using the keyboard.
What does the course cover?
You will learn how to cover the keyboard with both hands building up from your first fingers to using all four fingers.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through a range of classroom tasks and activities.
Will I get a qualification?
Upon successfully completing the course you will receive a certificate of attendance
What can I do next? Is there a progression route?
You can progress onto : touch typing: Next Steps Office Documents course to further develop your touch typing skills and knowledge of documents commonly used in an office environment.
Are there any entry requirements?
You will need some basic IT skills. Familiarity with the Internet is an advantage.

5 weeks
