The Council has the Common Commissioning Framework, Contract Management and review process, the Quality Concerns process that includes the Quality Assurance Framework.

There is the Care First IT system and there is the support of the Solihull Observatory, this provides a centre of excellence in research, data collection and analysis, supporting the local commissioning process as well as evidence-based policy-making.

No

6. Do you use brokerage or commissioning teams or do social workers/care managers contact providers direct?

Yes - Brokerage forHomecare and we have an Integrated Commissioning Team.

Social Workers and Care Managersdo contact providers direct in some circumstances,but there is a moderation process is in place.
