Innovation Showcase Fall 2015 Event Information

Mission of Innovation Showcase
Innovation Showcase enables creators to produce, refine and develop new inventions, new methodologies, new creations and new ideas. Innovation Showcase provides an arena in which students can tackle real problems, push the envelope, collaborate across lines, learn from failure, cultivate imagination and curiosity, experience new possibilities, participate in an overarching entrepreneurial energy, and change perceptions. Innovation Showcase fosters the process of invention, creation and revolution, creating generations of intentional innovators as well as generations of cutting-edge innovations.
What Exactly Is Innovation Showcase?
Innovation Showcase is a massive exhibit of student-produced projects, demonstrating how ASU students solve real-world problems with innovative and imaginative solutions. Collaborating with industry partners both in the greater metropolitan area and the world over, students work on creating solutions to meet tangible industry and societal needs.
INNOVATION SHOWCASE STUDENT DEADLINES
Thursday, October 29Project submission website opens.
Print & Imaging Lab (PIL) submission opens.
Thursday, November 12 Lastpossible day to submit project information throughregistration site.
Sunday, November 29 Submit final poster design to Print and Imaging Lab.
Thursday, December 3 Print and Imaging Lab will deliver printed postersto SDFC 3-5pm.
Friday, December 4Innovation Showcase
Student check-in and set up project at SDFC 7:00am - 1:00pm.
Doors open to public at 3:00pm.
Showcase ends at 5:00pm.
All projects must be moved out of SDFC by 6:00pm.

PRINT AND IMAGING LAB (PIL) POSTER SUBMISSION INFORMATION

Poster Submission Deadline
Final Poster Submission Date – Sunday, November 29
Poster Pick-Up Date – N/A, If your poster is submitted by the deadline it will be delivered to your assigned space in the Sun Devil Fitness Center.
Poster Design Parameters
- Poster must be 23 inches by 35 inches, horizontal or vertical.
- Create poster with no bleed (no solid color going over the edge of the above parameters).
- Resolution must be over 200 dpi at final size. (Photoshop - File > Image Size).
- Use the official high resolution ASU logo(download available here).
- To download Powerpoint Templates, click on an image below.
- If working in InDesign, output your file to Adobe preset PDFx/1a.
- Name your poster file Lastname_Class(Example: Smith_AMT101).
Final poster submission MUST be in .PDF format. No other formats will be accepted.

- Once downloaded, pleaseclick hereto upload poster.
Poster Pick Up
- Posters will be setup by the Print and Imaging Lab on Thursday, December 3rd from 3-5 PM.
