Newsletter

Thank you to all homeowners who attended the annual meeting on October 29th. There was an exceptionally large turnout this year. Two members from the City Planning Department and the Police Chief were there to discuss annexation and to answer questions. Our new Bookkeeper,Rochelle Globstad,was introduced to homeowners. Two new homeowners were elected to join the Board. A date was set for next year’s Neighborhood Garage Sale. We look forward to another productive year here in Inglewood Forest!

Upcoming events

Let’s light up the neighborhood with cheer duringthis year’s Annual Holiday Lights Display Contest! Judging will be done onDecember 20th by a member of the Lake Stevens city council.The winner will receive a $50.00 Haggen gift card. Second and third place runners up will receive $25.00 Haggen gift cards. Winners will be announced on the Inglewood Forest website and in the spring newsletter.

Mark your calendars for next year’s annual Neighborhood Garage Sale! The date is set for July 16, 17, and 18thin 2010. More information to come as time draws closer for this event.

Inglewood Forest now has a website! It is Check it out to find a copy of the latest newsletter, a classified section, to find out about upcoming work parties, contact information for the Board and our Bookkeeper, download forms such as the Architectural Control Committee approval request form and to obtain a copy of the CCR’s.

As a result of the November 3rd election Inglewood Forest has been annexed into the city of Lake Stevens. We will now be able to take advantage of all amenities the cityhas to offer. Annexation will not change our Tot Lots, Basketball Courts, Water Retention Ponds, or Natural Growth Protection Areas. These areas still belong to Inglewood Forest and will remain under our care. Additionally, there will be no change to the CC&R’s or Bylaws and the HOA will continue to operate as usual.

Reminders

Boat owners please remember to remove your boats from the streets and screen them in accordance to the CC&R’s. Thank you!
