Information Guide

Welcome Families! We are excited to serve you and your children this semester. Below are some important reminders which will help you prepare for your child’s experience here at NCC.

General Information:

  • Please Check in at the front
  • For health and safety concerns, we ask that you do not bring items for snack or lunch which are made with peanut butter.
  • If you bring your child in an infant carrier or stroller, please check with the front office on where to leave these items.
  • If your child needs medicine to be administered while at NCC (whether prescription or over the counter) you will need to fill out a “Medication Permission Form.” The front office has these forms. If the bottle does not specify the proper dosage for your child (i.e. Infant Tylenol that states “under 2 years consult physician”), you will need to provide a doctor’s note.
  • Your child will have a small cubby where he or she can keep a bag or backpack, lunch box, and any other personal items.
  • Label ALL personal items including bags, lunch boxes, blankets, pacifiers, and cups. Label with the child’s first name and last initial.
  • Unless the center or class teacher has specified as a “show & tell,” please do not bring toys from home.
  • We love each of our students and their parents; however, drop off and pick up times are not the time for parent teacher conferences. If you ask, “How did my child do today?” All teachers will reply, “We had a great day!”
  • Please give hugs & kisses in the hallway and allow your child to walk into their classroom themselves and place their belongings in their cubby, if able.
  • Please remember to keep the front office updated with current contact information.
