2017 ANNUAL OPEN SHOW
HELD IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE ALBANY POULTRY CLUB

INFORMATION AND RULES ALL COMPETITORS TO PLEASE NOTE:

DATES: 31st March, 1st & 2nd April 2017

ENTRIES DEADLINE: Friday 26th February 2017 (Please enter early!)
ENTRY FEES: Nil

LATE ENTRIES: No late entries will be accepted

RULES:

  Exhibitors must state on entry form the name of breed & class code

  Unhealthy birds will not be exhibited but will be immediately returned to the owner

  Exhibits will be fed, watered and attended to during the Bathurst Show andeverypossible care taken, but the Bathurst Agricultural Society will not accept liability

  Pens will be provided for the exhibition of Poultry and Water Fowl

  The judges’ decision as to merit will be final

  The Committee reserve the right to appoint additional judges if requiredand to make any alterations necessary for the success of the Bathurst Show

  All eggs laid during the Bathurst Show are to be removed by the Head Steward orManager who has instructions to collect and destroy them.

  The greatest care will be taken of exhibits, but the Committee will not be responsible for any accidents, mistakes or damages from whatsoever cause.The exhibits, hampers, cases and cages being the sole risk of the exhibitor

  The Committee shall have the right to refuse any entries for the Show without giving any reason for such refusal

  The Committee, whose decision shall in all cases be final, subject to appealat law, shall decide anything not comprised in the foregoing rules. They alsoreserve the right of interpretation in respect of any imperfectly worded rule or regulation.

  During the Bathurst Show, exhibits may not be touched or handled by the exhibitor or any unauthorised person. Before exhibits are released the hallwillbe cleared and a Steward will be in attendance to release the birds after 3pm, on the last day of the Show. Birds not collected by 5pm will remain, at the risk of the owners. At 5:30pm the hall will be locked

  Exhibitors and others not on the staff shall not be permitted to remain in the Poultry hall until all the judging has been completed

  Only birds in individual classes to compete for best of breed & best oppositesex

  Exhibits must be delivered to the Poultry Hall by 6pm onThursday 30th March 2017 or by 8.30am on judging day, Friday 31st March 2017.

  It is entirely up to the judge concerned as to whether every bird in a class should be handled.
