Indiana State Standards Review

The applied skills test will be made up of open ended questions, including constructed response and extended response items.

Topics on the applied skills test include early civilizations (Egyptians, Mesopotamians, and Ancient Chinese and Indian civilizations), world religions (Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, and Hinduism), international organizations (OPEC, AU, and UN), forms of government (dictatorship, republic, democracy, and monarchy), resources and geographic limitations, standard of living (GDP per capita as indicator of standard of living), international trade, and types of economies (market, command, and mixed economies).
