The following office-bearers of the Executive Council (EC) of the Society will be elected for the next term 2018-2019.

Members are invited to send their nominations for these offices in the attached nomination form by email and/or post to the Returning Officer, so as to reach him on or before 30th October, 2017 (Monday). The election will be as per the Constitution of the Society.
Eligibility for holding of an elective office:
The life members and the annual members who have no outstanding dues to the Society for the year 2016 and the members who have paid membership fee for the year 2017 to the Society as on 5th October 2017, shall only be eligible to nominate and hold an elective office. Please find attached herewith a election schedule, nomination form and eligible member’s voter list.. The election process is to be followed as per the ISGPB constitution.
The election schedule is as follows:
Dispatch of letter for nominations with list of eligible members : 09-10-2017 (Monday)
Last date for receipt of nomination from members : 30-10-2017 (Monday)
Last date for withdrawal of nomination by the candidate : 13-11-2017 (Monday)
Collegium meeting : 21-11-2017 (Tuesday)
Last date for dispatch of ballot papers to members : 06-12-2017 (Wednesday)
Last date of receipt of ballot papers from voters : 28-12-2017 (Thursday)
Counting of votes and declaration of results : 30-12-2017 (Saturday)
The members are requested to note the above schedule so they exercise their voting rights on time.

To ensure that you receive the ballot paper in time, please inform us immediately by sending your new address in the Nomination Form provided or by an E-mail to us at or on a post card to the Secretariat’s address, if there is any change in your address.
