The tournament will take place over 2 days:

Under7’s and Under 8’s5-a-side, under 9’s and Under 10’s7-a-side
Under 11’s and Under 12’s 9-a-side and Under 13’s to Under 16’s will be 11-a-side
Note Under 7 to Under 10’s inclusive will be non-competitive

Important notes!!
  • In the interests of safety, all rules will be strictly adhered to
  • Please make sure all your players are suitably prepared so as to avoid any disappointment should a rule have to be enforced (see rule 23)
  • Please ensure that players are of the correct age for each age group
  • Please make sure you include your County FA affiliation number, Club Secretary’s name & email address – all forms missing this information will be returned
  • In accordance with FA rules, Under 7’sto Under 10’s will be run on a non-competitive basis with no tables or knock-out football
  • Closing date for applications is 25thJuly 2014. All applications not received before this date may be returned. Limited places per age group so send your entries ASAP, as we had over 130 teams enter last year.

  1. U7 & U8 are 5 a side - U9U10 are 7-a-side games with no offside. U11 & U12 are 9 a side and U13to U16are all 11-a-side games played on a full size pitch again no off sides.
  2. All age groupswill be allowed to play roll-on/roll-off subs
  3. All teams must comply with the rules, failure to do so will result in the offending teams being expelled and will forfeit any trophies won. Each team will be responsible for the behaviour of its players and supporters.
  4. Any disputes will be investigated by the organisers and the respective Leagues if necessary and in any case proven rule 3 will apply.
  5. The tournament’s organisers and referees decisions are final.
  6. All U8 - U16 players must comply with the age groups for the coming season. All U7 players must have their 7th birthday on or after the 1stSeptember 2014and on or before the 31st August 2015 etc.
  7. Teams can only field a maximum of 2 guest players in any one game.
  8. Managers must register all guest players with the organisers when you book in on the day.
  9. Teams may have a maximum squad size of 9 for 5 a side, 10 for 7 a side, 12 for 9 a side and a maximum squad size of 16 players for 11aside age groups.
  10. Individual trophies: Only 14 trophies for 11-a-side, 11 for 9 a side and 9 for 7 a sidewill be presented on the day of the tournament. Extra trophies may be purchased for a small additional cost. (Please ask the organisers before the presentations). Non-competitive age groups – all registered players will receive a medal
  11. The first round of games will be played on a league basis for Under 11’s and 10’s. Qualifying from the group matches will be dependant on the number of teams per age group and will be clearly indicated in the programme. If, after qualifying a draw is required, it will take place on completion of all the league fixtures. Under 13’s to Under 16’s will be played fully on a league basis – top 2 teams receiving winners & runners up awards.

Points: Win3 points; Score draw 2 points; No score draw1 point

  1. When teams finish level on points and goal difference the number of goals scored will determine qualifiers, if that is equal then least goals conceded will be considered. If that too is equal then rule (14) will take effect using any 5 players from the team.
  2. Unless stated otherwise - Games in the first rounds to Semi-finals for small sided11-a-side will be 10 minute matches no half time. Games in the Final’s will be 10 minutes each way for 9 and 7 a side. Extra time will only be played if the scores are level in the Quarter, Semi-finals and Final.
  3. If at the end of a Quarter, semi-final or final the scores are level, extra time will be played. Small sided will be 3 minutes each way. If after extra time the scores are level, the game will be decided by kicks from the penalty spot.
  4. Penalties: 5 players from each team that finished the match will be selected by the manager to take 5 penalties. They will be taken alternatively by each team. If after 5 each the scores are still level then a sudden death shoot out will apply using the remaining players.
  5. Disciplinary Procedure: Any player cautioned by the referee will automatically miss the next game. Any player sent off will be suspended for the remainder of the tournament.

Note: This is a K.C.F.A affiliated tournament, cautions & dismissals will be reported.

  1. Each team to have a change of team shirts. On fixture lists the away team will change if there is a clash of colours. The home team on the fixture list is to supply the match ball.
  2. Each team must be ready to play 5 minutes before the specified KO time, unless notified otherwise; the team may forfeit the points for failure to comply.
  3. Presentations will take place after each final has been concluded.
  4. No alcoholic drinks will be allowed on the grounds, no tents, fires, barbecues, etc.
  5. Main car parking facilities are provided at Borstal Recreation ground. Please where possible encourage all parents and players to car share to reduce the traffic in and around the local area and also to help the environment.Please park with due consideration for local residents – illegally parked cars WILL be removed, car park is within the Borstal Rec area so please do not park around local streets.
  6. All teams are requested to use the litter bags provided around each pitch.
  7. On each day the tournament organisers/referees will, according to the ground conditions at the time, determine what type of footwear will be permitted, the choice being studs (including blades) or trainers (including astros). Players without the correct footwear WILL NOT be permitted to take part in the competition.
  8. The organisers will endeavour to arrange all groups with an equal number of teams. However, in the event of a late withdrawal from the competition, or failure by any team to complete their full set of fixtures for any reason, a 2-0 score in favour of their opposition will be recorded for ALL of that teams fixtures.

Real 60 FC can not accept any responsibility for any injury or damage to players or spectators or to their vehicles or other property which may occur during the tournament.

  • Real 60 FC acknowledges that all of the above should be protected from poor practice and from all forms of abuse.
  • Real 60 FC will not tolerate any form of inappropriate language or threatening behaviour from parents, guests, spectators, visitors, officials or club representatives on match sidelines, particularly that aimed towards match officials and participating children.
  • Real 60 FC reserves the right to ask any individual demonstrating actions deemed to conflict with this policy to move away from the match sidelines and, if necessary, to leave the premises.
