NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH PROGRAM (NWP)
The Tall Oaks Crossing Neighborhood Watch is once again being activated. Resident James Belton has volunteered to head this activity for the community. The purpose of this activity is to have in place a process to address criminal activity that may occur in the community. This process will ensure a safe environment for the community through interactions between neighbors and the police department. This committee is seeking volunteers to be Block Watchers (BW). The formation of this group was strongly recommended by the Police Chief during our May meeting.
On July 26, 2007, a special meeting will be held at the South Bowie Community Center at 7:00 p.m., to discuss the need for the Neighborhood Watch Program and to begin the implementation process. If you have any questions, please contact James Belton. At the end of this newsletter is a Sample Incident Report Sheet for your information.
