Important dates and times

BUMP IN

Bump in will be available on Wednesday 22 March (3-5pm) and Thursday 23 March (7:30am-9:30am). All exhibitors must be set up and ready for the Expo at 10am. Please note that all cars will need to be moved from the unloading/loading area and the adjoining designated disabled parking area by 9:30am.

There is exhibitor car parking behind the Budawang Pavilion. This can be accessed beyond the Coorong Pavilion. Please note that this is a single lane road and is uneven/gravel in parts and will only be able to be accessed before 9:30am and after 3pm on the 23 March.

There is ample parking in the surrounding areas, including Magpie Park, Wagtail Way and Grandstand Carpark, all of which are within 100m walk of the venue. We ask that exhibitors refrain for parking in front of the Coorong Pavilion on the day of the Expo.

For those looking to ship boxes, deliveries are accepted only on Wednesday 22 March. All deliveries must be clearly labelled as follows, with correct reference to the stand name or number:

BUMP OUT

Thursday 23 March from 3pm (sites must be cleared by 5pm). Please ensure you take all of your materials with you, or place them in the bins provided.

Set up

The Budawang Pavilion is located to the right when entering Exhibition Park from Flemington Road. Cars will be able to unload at the front of the building but must be moved by 9am to allow time for outside stalls to set up. We cannot guarantee car access to the building after this time.

Please bring your own trolleys for transporting your goods.

Parking

Furniture

Your exhibition booking space includes one table, two chairs and a table cloth.

If you require power or other furniture/equipment for your stand, an order form is attached. Any orders will be delivered to your site and then collected at the conclusion of the Expo.

Catering

Catering is supplied by Exhibition Park from 8am and is available throughout the day. There will be seating available inside the venue.

COTA ACT will be providing sandwiches for exhibitors in the secretariat room from 12:30pm. Water On Tap will be available at various locations at the venue, so please bring a water bottle to fill up.

Entertainment

Entertainment will be provided on the BeyondBank stage and includes an official opening and performance by Music for Canberra, cooking demonstrations by Nutrition Australia and a performance by Phil Major at 1pm. 1053 2CA will also be broadcasting live throughout the day and ArtSound radio broadcasting from 10am-12pm.

SENIORS WEEK PROGRAM

COTA ACT compiles a program of events for Seniors Week. These activities give our senior community the opportunity to participate in a number of new opportunities.

The Seniors Week Program will be included in The Chronicle, and delivered to almost every household in the ACT. In addition, information will be featured in The Senior Newspaper, The Canberra Times and on a number of online platforms.
