Here are details of our latest Level 5OpenLeadership & Management courses in 2014.
Introduction
These experiential programmes are delivered as 4 or 5 day residential courses at our teambuilding facilities in Keswick, Cumbria where we make use of the vista and geography of the Lake District every day.
They are also delivered as 4 or 5 day open courses in London at one/two days per month.
The group size is limited to 12 delegates to ensure maximum participation.
**Qualification 1 - The ILM Level 5Awardin Leadership and Management - 4 day open programme**

Qualification overview
The ILM Level 5 Award in Leadership and Managementhas been designed to give practising or aspiring middle managers a solid foundation for their formal development in this role.
The Award is a concise qualification made up of two units. In the first unit, ‘Developing and Leading Teams to Achieve Organisational Goals and Objectives’, participants explore the nature of the middle management role and critically evaluate their own managerial ability.
In the second unit, ‘Becoming an Effective Leader’, participants explore leadership styles within their organisation, the commitment and motivation of their teams and their own ability to motivate teams to meet organisational goals.
The two programme modules are delivered as a knowledge and skills cluster, supported by online distance learning and 1-1 tutor support by telephone and email.
This enables participants to maximise their learning with integrated assessments supported by comprehensive materials and unrivalled participant support.

Option two – 4-day open course at our training centre in London (each day will run from 09:30 to 16:30)
Programme 3-will take placeon the following dates:06 & 21 October and 07 & 17 November 2014
Programme cost
The cost including programme delivery, registration, accreditation and certification is£1,295 + VATper delegate. (This includes accommodation and catering for the residential course in Keswick).
**Qualification 2 - The ILM Level 5Certificatein Leadership and Management - 4 day open programme**
The group size is limited to 12 delegates to ensure maximum participation.
Qualification overview
The ILM Level 5 Certificate in Leadership and Managementisdesigned for middle managers, helping them to develop their skills and experience, improve performance and prepare for senior management responsibilities.
This course builds on the content of the 4 day ILM Level 5 Award in Leadership & Management with enhanced learning support through the use of our online learning system which further develops your underpinning knowledge and skills needed to complete the 3 course assignments which are:
* Becoming an Effective Leader
* Developing and Leading Teams to Achieve Organisational Goals and Objectives
* Understanding the Skills, Principles and Practice of Effective Management Coaching and Mentoring

**Qualification 3 - The ILM Level 5 Certificate in Leading With Integrity - 5 day open programme**
TheILM Level 5 Certificate in Leading with Integrityhas been developed for aspiring and experienced Middle Managers who have leadership and management responsibilities and are seeking to develop their abilities as an ethical leader or manager.
This qualification combines the highest standards in practical management with academic expertise in integrity and ethics.
It provides a foundation in leadership and management with particular focus on the importance of culture, values, and integrity, ensuring hands-on experience in the handling of ethical dilemmas.

There are two mandatory units in this qualification. The first unit, ‘Becoming an Effective Leader’ will give learners a solid understanding of leadership, including the key competencies of leadership, different leadership styles, when to use them and with whom, and how to evaluate their own ability to lead.
The second unit ‘Leading with Integrity’, covers understanding different forms of integrity, how to address ethical dilemmas, economic, legal and social responsibilities, and how to align them as a leader in the sector in which you work.
