Chicago Lakefront and the Magnificent Mile / Buckingham Fountain to North Avenue Beach / The summertime jewel of Chicago for biking, walking or jogging is the Lakefront. Starting at Buckingham Fountain in Grant Park proceeding north past the Chicago Yacht Club, Ohio Street Beach (where the tri-athletes train), Oak Street Beach and ending at North Avenue Beach. If stopping at Oak Street Beach you can head down (south) on Michigan Avenue for the Magnificent Mile.
