OFFICERS REPORTS:

  1. Chairman: Quiz night confirmed Sat. May 21st. The Pavillion was booked and Donal has offered to run the bar and lend the speakers. Fish and chip supper as in past to be provided and wine and beer will be brought in and night will be advertised. Court security was discussed and Kathy drew the attention of the committee to recent problems and showed photos. The chairman felt that the youngsters causing the problems had moved away. Courts have been left open by members in the past and 2 sets of expensive locks had been stolen. Concern was voiced regarding insurance cover of the courts if the gate continued to be left open. As there had not been any significant damage over the last 2 years it was decided that the courts remain open but a sign should be put up to say courts only for members use and only for tennis. Dick would look at our insurance cover and obligations.
  2. Juniors: Amanda distributed details of the people who are taking over

managing the junior section. Amanda was thanked for all her hard work and presented with a voucher as a token of appreciation.
