Structural poles should be 47 mm x 47 mm x 2.5 mm, G.I. hollow pipe with 50 micron epoxi coating. One separate partition room with door and one main door, total lower portion of the room has to be covered by 5 mm melamine sheet from ground level up to 2-0 ft height. ABS polymer netting, hole size not above 25 mm and thickness of binder 4 mm. Natural soil dressing, UV stabilized 200 micron film laying and brick soling. Roof to be covered by UV stabilized 200 micron film fixed through stainless steel gripper and spring. One water line should be available with one stainless steel basin. HPLC inter phase Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometer / The ICP-MS Component should consist of Liquid sample introduction system, RF plasma ion source, single lens focusing system, polyatomic interference removal system, quadruple mass filter, dual stage discrete dynode detector, all under computer control dynamically as system analyzes element to element.
Sample introduction system should include cross-flow nebulizer, Ryton Scott-type dual pass spray chamber, alumina injector and close coupled, three-channel integral peristaltic pump, computer controlled with automatic start, stop and tubing saver mode.
Ion Source and RF plasma should include a computer controlled 40 MHz RF generator operating from 500 to 1600 watts for automatic control of torch ignition, shutdown, and system warm up.
Ion Extraction Interface should consist of nickel sampler and skimmer cones
Ion Focusing Lens System should consist of a single lens and must be preceded by a shadow stop to eliminate the noise from photons and neutrals produced the plasma.
Quadrupole mass filter shall preferably utilize gold metallized ceramic rod technology for best stability and operate at 2.5 MHz for exceptional resolution and abundance sensitivity
Ion Detector Assembly should be a simultaneous dual-stage discrete dynode electron multiplier which allows element concentration calibration over a full 9 orders magnitude of dynamic range.
Vacuum system Triple stage vacuum system utilizing a dual-inlet turbo molecular pump to maintain vacuum at less than 10-5 Torr during analysis, In the event of vacuum failure, the entire vacuum system is to be automatically back-filled by inert gas to preserve the cleanliness of the system.
.Polyatomic Interferences The system should have facility to eliminate polyatomic and molecular interferences
The HPLC Component should consist of a quaternary solvent HPLC pump, HPLC autosampler and peltier column oven
HPLC Quaternary Pump: Quaternary Gradient HPLC System with degasser. The flow rate range should be within 0.01 to 10.0 mL/min, maximum pressure of 6200 psi (420 bar) for the entire range. Flow rate increments should be 0.01 from 0 to 99 mL/min; 0.1 from 1.0 to 10 mL/min. Auto sampler up to 225 vials Automatic chaining together of multiple methods with different vial sequences. Variable sampling speed for viscous samples. The chromatography module should display real-time status information on all vital analytical parameters for both the ICP-MS and the HPLC system, should enable the ICP-MS and HPLC to automatically rinse with different solutions following an unattended speciation analysis without stopping the plasma and also should provide concurrent automated start up and optimization of both the ICP-MS and the HPLC subsystems. The change over from LC-ICP-MS mode to stand alone ICP-MS mode of operation must be easy and user friendly
System Software Essentially a single software control of both HPLC & ICP-MS system, with provision to control, LC Pump, Auto sampler, ICP-MS & Automatic switching of valve to transfer sample from column to MS system.

To ensure proper synchronization of the integrated LC-ICP-MS system it is essential to obtain both the ICP-MS component and the HPLC component from the same make (Manufacturer)
Sample preparation system has to be a microprocessor controlled microwave digestion system with 48 medium pressure vessels made of PEEK and PFA (50 ml). Built in air cooling should be present. Pressure and temperature sensor for one vessel. Vessel Volume: 50 ml Working pressure: 20 bar (290 psi) Opening pressure: 30 bar (440 psi) Test pressure: 140 bar (2000 psi) Max. temperature: 200°C.
