WYNNTON NEIGHBORHOOD NETWORK

In 2017, the Network served 4,322 families with food. Those families contained 11,235 individuals including 4,881 children. More than two- thirds of those families visited us just once during the year. About 20% of them visited us twice, and just 10% visited us three or four times. That shows that most folks just need a little bit of help and are not habitual users. In comparison with 2016, we served about 200 more families, or an increase of 4.5 percent. Our numbers of children served increased slightly more, at greater than 6 percent. We spent $ 58,098.89 providing groceries to feed our clients for approximately a week.

We also spent $38,752.18 helping 556 families keep their lights on. That’s more than last year since we increased the amount we spend each month for assistance.

Many thanks to all our congregations for their generosity in giving their time, money and food. Please be proud of all you’ve helped us to accomplish.

BlessingS to all,

Sue Cheney Hiers
