Dear Bighorn Botanicals,

nose and ears. Also has RA.

CASE #4: Forty four year old female PTC with lupus, systemic. Currently under

full naturopathic care for another ND. Skin lesions are fine scaling on

arms and legs.

Plan . Yew salve TID to affected areas.

Follow up: One week after treatment, skin has become more supple and less dry.

Three weeks after treatment skin seems to be within normal limits.

Some scarring present. Patient to continue treatment TID and follow up

in one month.

I am impressed with what this herb has to offer our clients.

Thanks and have a great day!

The following is a forwarded email from Dr. Simonsen, October 25, 2005.

Attached is a testimonial from a happy client! He is an amazing guy.

Be well, Valerie.

To Bighorn Botanicals in my home state of Noxon, Montana.

Greetings and Aloha to you. My name is Darryl M. and a native of The Big Sky Country and Butte in particular. My dear friend here on Maui, Doctor Valerie Lane Simonsen, recommended your Yew Tip Salve to me back in April of 2004 when I had a melanoma removed from my shoulder. At that time the incision was about 2 inches long. Subsequent follow up surgery to clear the margins required an incision about 8 inches.

At Doc Val’s suggestion, I put a small amount of the Yew Tip Salve on the area twice daily, and have done so for over a year now. I still have the original 1 oz jar and there is salve still remaining in it. I recently went to the dermatologist here on Maui, who initially did the surgery, for a follow up exam. When she examined the former melanoma area, her first words were “WOW, that is one, well healed scar”. Thankfully, her exam was very positive with regards no further skin cancers sighted anywhere.

Anyway, I just wanted to pass along my thoughts regarding your product as I personally can attest to what it has done for me. I continue to use it, and will till the jar is empty. Many thanks and perhaps one day when I am back in my home state I’ll pass thru Noxon and say hello.

Aloha and Mahalo,

Darryl M.
