WALK IN INTERVIEW

A walk in interview for three posts of Senior Research Fellow, two Young Professionals 2 and one Multi-Tasking staff (MTS)purely on contract basis under project on ‘Impact Assessment of PPR vaccine technology in India’ will be held at 10.30 A.M. on 19.09.2016 at ICAR-NIVEDI, Behind CRPF campus, Post Box. No.6450, Ramagondanahalli, Yelahanka, Bangalore-560064. The position is co-terminus with the project. Candidates are required to bring testimonials in original and one set of self-attested copies of testimonials & one passport size color photo along with completed application form (which may be downloaded from the website), at the time of interview. Essential Qualifications:Senior Research Fellow/Young professional 2

Master degree in the relevant subject

Disciplines qualified:MSc (Ag) in Agricultural Economics /

MSc (Ag) in Agricultural Extension or Extension Education /MSc (Ag) in Agricultural Statistics / MSc (Ag) in Agricultural Marketing & Cooperation / MVSc or MSc in Livestock Economics or Dairy Economics or Animal Husbandry Economics with four/five

years Bachelors degree

MVSc or MSc in Veterinary Extension or Dairy Extension or Animal Husbandry Extensionwith four/five

years Bachelors degree

Desirable:(i) Expertise in statistical techniques and using SPSS, SAS, R, etc.,

(ii) Proficiency in computer skills

(iii) Knowledge in mathematical modeling

Essential Qualifications:Multi-tasking staff (MTS)

Any degree with sound knowledge in computers

Age :18-30 years Age relaxation upto 35 years for SC/ST

and 33 years for OBC as on the date of advertis

Emoluments:Senior Research Fellow

Rs. 25000 / month + HRA as per rules

Young professional-2

Rs. 25000 / month (consolidated)

No separate call letter for interview shall be issued. The position is purely temporary on contractual basis and co-terminus with the project, i.e. upto the end of March 2017. ICAR-NIVEDI, Bangalore will not be held responsible to give regular appointment after expiry of the project. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview.
