PROGRAM SCHEDULE
MCM and committee discussed the program schedule and the allocation of all the papers.
IMPERATIVE TO GET THIS STARTED ASAP.
STEP 1: As referred papers get 20 minutes to present and general papers and WIPs to get 15 minutes. Plan to put at least 3 x Referred papers and 2 x General Papers/WIPS into an hour and a half session
[- ie 3 x Refereed papers (@ 20 mins each = 1 hour) plus 2 x General papers (@ 15 mins each = 30 mins) = 1 hour and 30 minutes]
STEP 2: Plan – committee to be allocated a stream(s) each to allocate the papers into a “session”. Each committee member to bunch the papers into their stream into 3s that would work together within a session.
STEP 3: Committee to send back groups of 3 by Friday 19 September.
STEP 4: Program Sub-Committee to get together to allocate the program into one big schedule.
(PLEASE NOTE: Committee members will need to actively participate in this section – as the allocation of papers and the overall program is where your expertise lies and not MCM’s. We need some volunteers to put their hands up to help Tim in putting together the final program schedule. Remember: the program and how it is scheduled will make a big impact on how the conference is viewed).
STEP5: Program complete. Add General papers and WIPs
