The Organizing Committee supported by I.B.S.A. (International Blind Sports Federation) and F.I.S.P.I.C. (Italian Federation Paralympic Sport for Blind) have the pleasure to cordially invite you to the
IBSA FOOTBALL B2-B3 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP 2014
to be held at La Spezia – Italy from 10th to 17th December 2014 .
We will be honoured to have you in Italy and welcome you in our sunny Region Liguria which will surely provide you a comfortable stay.
In this first stage we are kindly asking you to carefully read the letter of information in which you will find all the details of the event that we reckon will be one of the biggest sport events of 2014.
Besides this, we are also kindly asking you to complete the attached form “A” that will allow us to start having an approximate estimate of the participants; we remind you that the information you will supply us will be merely indicative. The official numbers of participants will be considered starting from the 1st Entry Form, foreseen for the 15 th September 2014 and the second entry foreseen for the 15th October 2014.

AIRPORT:
Delegation arrivals are foreseen during the day of December 10th 2014. All arrivals are foreseen to be in PISA, at GALILEO GALIELEI International Airport; please note that we suggest to book your tickets in order to arrive the December 10th between 10:00 am/8:00 pm. The airport of Pisa has flight connection from some principal European Capitals and more.
From the Airport the LOC will provide transport to the accommodation site.
Once luggage has been collected, team members will be escorted to buses, which will take them to the Official Championship Hotel.

The details about accreditation procedure will be sent in following information.
TRANSPORT:
For all participants the O.C. will provide transport from and to the airport, and from and to the venue. No courtesy cars will be provided.
If you want to rent a car, there are many international car rentals in Pisa Airport (such as Hertz, Avis, etc…); we suggest you to reserve the car before your arrival.
ELECTRICITY:
220 Volts
MEDICAL SUPPORT:
The OC will provide a team of medical staff that will be present at the venue during competition. In case of an injury or a problem that cannot be treated immediately, the ambulance service will accompany you to the nearest Hospital, not more than 10 min away.
Of course, all teams are advised to organize their own insurance prior to their arrival.
Is mandatory to consign to the LOC the copy of medical Insurance; in case the National Teams has not the medical insurance it has to consign to the LOC one document with the release of responsibility.
INSURANCE:
All delegations are responsible for their own insurance. The O.C. will NOT be responsible for any material damage, injuries or loss of property, etc. should something like that happen to the participants during their stay in Italy.
INTERNET:
Internet access is available in the Hotel, no internet access will be available at the Venue.
TELEPHONE:
International Telephone cards are easily to use and purchasable at local tobacco shops. If you prefer to buy one Italian Phone Card for you mobile phone, with a pay-as-you-go system, remember that you need your identity document (Passport) to activate it.
ENTRY FEE:
Every member of delegation is obliged to pay €700 – all inclusive, for the period 10th December (arrival) until 17th December (departure).
Entry fee is intended PER PERSON in DOUBLE room (or triple if required) and does not include the IBSA capitation fee of €25 per athlete.
In case of a single room, the entry fee is €910 per person for the whole period.
The fee covers local transports, full board (from dinner December 10th to breakfast December 17th) and accommodation for seven nights.
Additional optional costs:
- For extra days before or after the competition dates €120 (or €150 in single room) accommodation in full board.
Timing of Payment
The first 30% of the total entry fee is payable by the 15 th September 2014 with the First Entry by Number (note that nothing is to paid with the provisional “form A”).
The second payment of 50% of the entry fee must be paid by 15th November 2014., with the Second Entry by Name.
The entire amount is to be paid by 30th November 2014.
The OC must receive the desired amount in full, it means that all bank fees are responsibility of the payer.
