Applicant/Rider agreement

I confirm

  • That if I am selected for the Championship reining team the above named horse/horses have been vaccinated in accordance with the prevailing federal/FEI rules and veterinary regulations prior to their arrival at the event for which I am selected;
  • That the above named horse/horses have not been administered any substance prohibited under FEI rules;
  • That the owners of the above named horse/horses have given their full permission for their use in team competition and have read and understood and signed a copy of this document which I enclose with my application.

I agree, as the rider of the horse(s) noted above and applicant:

  • To the terms of the selection policy and to accept the decision of the Selection Committee;
  • To accept team travel arrangements, directions and instructions of the Chef d’Equipe;
  • To attend all team building/training events as directed by the Chef d’Equipe;
  • Following selection, to wear the British Team uniform as directed by British Reining/BEF;
  • To assist with fund raising/promotional/media activities as reasonably requested by British Reining/Team Great Britain/British Equestrian Federation;
  • That if selected for the British Team, I will request permission from the Chef d’Equipe before taking part in any competition with my nominated horse(s) until after the Championship;
  • To notify the Chef d’Equipe immediately should I wish to change my nominated horse(s) and to provide a replacement application form signed by myself and the owner;
  • That I am willing to travel to any team event as a member of the British Reining team and fully accept that I may be selected as the reserve rider or individual;
  • That I am responsible for meeting all costs that cannot be borne by British Reining;
  • To pay the second portion of the registration fee, £250, on request and that the £300.00 total administration fee is non-refundable.
