I Support Upgrading and Enhancing Pedestrian and Bicycle Crossings of Interstate 80

Dear PennDOT:

I support upgrading and enhancing pedestrian and bicycle crossings of Interstate 80.

Connecting our communities and our green-spaces across Interstate 80 with accessible sidewalks and multi-use trails is important for recreation and community development. Multi-use trails provide a safe alternative to driving and they promote a healthy lifestyle. Regional trail systems also boost our local economy by promoting tourism.

I believe the key connections described at StroudGreenway.org are reasonable and would greatly benefit our region. Official Greenway Plans and Feasibility Studies showing these specific connections can also be found at StroudGreenway.org.

Please include these walking and biking enhancements in your design of the new wider Interstate 80.

It is important that these crossings are put in place now, because we won't have an opportunity like this for another 60 years.
