Thank you for joining ISACA Atlanta in our 8thannual GEEK WEEK event. This document serves as a letter of agreement outlining both ISACA Atlanta’s and your obligations for session presentation. This agreement does not, and shall not be construed, interpreted, or described in any way to, constitute ISACA Atlanta’s approval, endorsement, or recommendation of statements and/or opinions within your presentation.
I. PLANNED SESSIONS
Your participation in GEEK WEEK during the week of August 10, 2015at the Cobb GalleriaCentrewill consist of the following sessions:

II. SESSION AGREEMENT TERMS
- SESSION CONTENT
Sessions must focus on educational knowledge transfer/sharing without sales presentations on the presenter’s specific services and/or products. Generally available services & products may be discussed, if these items are relevant to the discussion at hand. In addition, you are free to solicit contact information from or follow-up meetings with attendees interested in continued discussions regarding the session topics or your specific services and/or products.
An electronic copy of your presentation must be forwarded to the GEEK WEEK Committee no later than May 31, 2015. ISACA Atlanta reserves the right to review all presentations & suggest content changes to the benefit of your organization as well as your session attendees. You reserve the right to accept or reject proposed changes.
- SESSION MATERIALS
ISACA Atlanta will provide your presentation and/or handout materials to your session attendees. Therefore, an electronic copy of these items must be provided to the GEEK WEEK Committee no later than June30, 2015. If ISACA Atlanta does not receive your electronic copies in time for printing deadlines, you will be responsible for providing copies to your session attendees.
- AUDIO/VISUAL EQUIPMENT
ISACA Atlanta will provide a microphone, an LCD projector and a projection screen for your session. You must bring your own laptop in order to present your materials. Any additional requirements must be submitted to the GEEK WEEK Committee no later than June30, 2015.
- GEEK WEEK PROGRAM GUIDE
As a featured presenter, your name, contact information, and session synopsis may be published in the GEEK WEEK Program Guide distributed to all attendees. Consent to publish this information is assumed unless you provide instruction detailing which pieces of information you consent to be published. This instruction must be submitted to the GEEK WEEK Committee no later than June30, 2015.
- GUEST ATTENDEES
As a presenter, your registration for the full GEEK WEEK conference is complimentary. If you have one co-presenter, their registration for the full GEEK WEEK conference is also complimentary. In the event, you do have a co-presenter, please provide the name and brief biographical information to the GEEK WEEK Committee no later than June30, 2015.
II. GENERAL AGREEMENT TERMS
- CANCELLATION
If you are unable to participate in the GEEK WEEK Conference due to unforeseen circumstances, you must provide a reasonable and comparable speaker as a replacement.
In the event that the premises of the Cobb Galleria Centre are destroyed or damaged; access to the premises is prevented or interfered with by reason of a strike, lockout, injunction, act of war, act of God, or other such reason; or the GEEK WEEK Conference fails to take place as scheduled, this agreement may be terminated by ISACA Atlanta or your organization. ISACA Atlanta reserves the right to remove, relocate, restrict, or request changes to any sessions, exhibits, persons, advertisements, or features which detract from the decorum of the conference.
- RESPONSIBILITY and INDEMNIFICATION
ISACA Atlanta’s sole responsibility and obligation under this agreement is to permit you to participate in the GEEK WEEK conference for the purposes and under the terms and conditions described herein. You agree to obtain and pay for any and all necessary licenses, permits, and insurance required for the installation, maintenance, and breakdown of exhibit(s) and for any authorized representatives.
You acknowledge and agree to adhere to and be bound by (a) all applicable fire, utility, and building codes; and (b) all applicable rules, regulations and policies of the Cobb Galleria Centre. You shall leave the premises in the same condition as found and shall not cause or permit others to cause any damage or disruption to the space or the facility.
You must make provisions for safeguarding your goods, materials, and equipment. ISACA Atlanta will not be responsible for the loss or damages of any of your property or materials. You assume entire responsibility and hereby agree to protect, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ISACA Atlanta and the Cobb Galleria Centre and their respective officers, directors, members, employees, and agents against all claims, losses, and damages to persons or property, governmental charges or fines, and attorneys’ fees arising out of or caused by your occupancy or use of the event premises or a part thereof, excluding any such liability caused by the sole negligence of ISACA Atlanta or the Cobb Galleria Centre.
In addition, you acknowledge neither ISACA Atlanta nor the Cobb Galleria Centre maintains insurance covering your organization’s property. You shall be fully responsible to pay for any and all damages, which result from any act of your willful or inadvertent negligence, to property owned by ISACA Atlanta or the Cobb Galleria Centre.
- MISCELLANEOUS
In the interest of the success of GEEK WEEK, you agree not to extend invitations, call meetings, or otherwise encourage the absence of attendees during regular conference hours. Your hospitality events shall not conflict with conference educational sessions.
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia. All disputes arising out of this agreement shall be resolved by the courts of the State of Georgia, USA. If any provision of this agreement shall be held invalid and unenforceable, such holding shall not invalidate any other provision hereof. This agreement may be executed in counterparts, each of which shall be an original, and all of which together shall constitute one and the same instrument.
This agreement represents the complete understanding between ISACA Atlanta and your organization. No amendments, deletions, or additions to this agreement shall be binding without written approval from both parties.
CRITICAL DATES
The following table outlines critical dates/deadlines required to meet GEEK WEEK presentation obligations. Failure to meet these deadlines may result in the omission or retraction of certain presentation privileges or cancellation of this agreement.

This agreement is entered into by the signatures of authorized representatives below. The effective date of this agreement is the later of signature dates below.
