Lecture I

I) ANCIENT PRINCIPLES TRANSLATED INTO THE CONTEMPORARY

After years of commuting between the eastern and the western hemispheres and extensively studying aruyevedic concepts, Alexander understood the need to create a “folder” in which our western mindset can receive and translate the abstract views of this ancient wisdom.
This lecture provides a meta-language and practical application of the principles of aruyevedic healing for those interested in these concepts. As a result, terms such as “my Vata is out of balance” or “low Ojas” do not remain abstract, but become a statement referring to concrete life experiences.
The Theory of Elements – The Three Constitutional Forces – The Six Tastes – The Ayurvedic Anatomy of the Seven Sheaths – Concept of Immunity . . .
are some of the main terms we will be evaluating and connecting to our lives.
From this new perspective, your daily experiences and lifestyle will become a constant source of awareness - and the key to directing the flow of life itself!
Please join us for this wonderful opportunity to learn with other curious and like-minded participants. Following the information segment, we will indulge in the smaller but tastier part of an ayurvedic snack and discussion, including a Q and A with Alexander.

II) NUTRITION AND HEALTH – CONSTITUTIONAL WEALTH

After quitting smoking, the remnants affect the physical body for an average of nine more years. Changing your body’s constituents to fit your own way of energetic wellbeing requires time and care.
Generally, the body’s irritation is manifest by acidification, slagging, and bloating. In this lecture Alexander teaches participants how to use nutrition and alter metabolism for the regeneration of body tissues in the course of healing.
This talk offers valuable insight into how imbalance generally happens:
and how to avoid the slow process of a loss of our equilibrium long before we feel dis-eased! Discussion will include Why and how Ayurveda can support us in healing and restoring balance.
After exploring such themes, Alexander shares his practical approach to balancing foods and recipes – both Indian and Western.
At the end of this lecture, participants will be able to detect early signs of imbalance and apply the tools necessary for staying on track. Join us for delectable snacks, discussion, and a Q and A with Alexander.
