With effective people skills and a rather contagious excitement about the opportunities information technology provides to empower the management and teams in an organisation, I am adept at managing change, evaluating, clarifying, selecting and delivering information technology for all levels of organisational management, staff and clients.

I have shared technology visions and developed strategies to lead the information technology focus of numerous small and medium sized organisations. I have managed (ie coached, mentored and brokered) my people and their skills, my outsourced resources, my budgetary resources and my own hands-on skills to implement various software and information systems projects, often while maintaining ongoing support services to tightly monitored key performance indicators. I have achieved agreed objectives within organisations of demanding staff and management – my customers. 1 Feb 2010 ~ 12 Feb 2015 Director and Chief Technical Officer, CalendarPower Pty Ltd. CalendarPower is a calendaring software startup, targeting a particular market niche. From Board level: establishing a culture of creativity and proactivity; rationalisation of business vision and ideas, applying Occam’s razor (ie the KISS principle); maintaining focus on the market – our market drives our creation of a product offering; applying my strategic technological experience to all decisions; educating, advising and persuading our non-technical decision makers to ensure good business outcomes across my areas of experience. 30 Oct 2009 ~ Jun 2014 Internet Domain Investment and Trading, Self Employed. Identifying value in Internet domains for investment, development and ongoing income or resale for profit. To date, achieved: monetisation of existing internet domains of mine which were either not yet set up at all, or had content but no ads; studied Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and applied numerous SEO specific strategies to the structure and content of my web sites, and have since maintained ongoing improvements to this SEO; registration and setup of over 270 web sites using a single WordPress 2.0 installation with PHP modification of what is known by WordPress PHP developers as ‘the loop’ in WordPress and a small PHP configuration file (script generated) for each site so all sites are marketed as due for auction and collect details from interested parties into a single central MySQL database; scalability, where thousands of additional sites can be added to this multi site system using my existing scripts within a day; mechanisms to allow direct messaging of hundreds of thousands of Facebook users, alerting them about personal name internet domains which I have available for them.

Responsible for: creation and testing of Flexcel based document strips to replace previous Flexcel based templates, and, as required, creating and modifying C# code in the various document producing ediEnterprise modules and in an abstraction layer of document wrappers; defect (bug) fixes relating to these areas of document engine, document wrappers and document templates.
