Hyperion 11.1.1.3 Plug-in Set Up, Configuration and Access

1)Save the executable file Installie11113.exefrom to your local Hard drive, by right click on Installie11113.exe and click on Save Target AS … option and click Save

2)Once it downloads to your local hard drive, double clicks on the icon for the executable file

a)A User Account Control will popup

Do you want to allow the following program from unknown publisher to make change to this computer? Select Yes

b)The following error while running the users hive could not be loaded; all users setting maybe lost window will popup

Do you want to continue? Select Yes

3)Command prompt will show you the setup of the executable file. Wait until you see the Hyperion InstallShield wizard screen)

4)If the install is on a computer that already has the Hyperion plug-in, a splash screen for “Hyperion 9.2” will appear. This is cosmetic only and does not affect the operation so it can be ignored.

5)Click Next

6)You will see the following status bar indicating the plug-in is installing. Click Cancel if you want to abort the program

7)Click OK to finish the installation

8)After finished the Hyperion web plug-in installation. You need to setup your browser to be a trusted website.

i)Click on the Tools button and Select Internet Options

ii)Select the Security tab , click on Trusted sites, click on Sites button

(1)Enter , click on Add.

(2)Uncheck Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone and then click on the Close button

iii)Click on Custom Level …

(1)Under ActiveX controls and plug-ins

(a)Select the Enable option on Run ActiveX controls and plug-inand Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting

(2)Under Miscellaneous category

(a)Select the Enable option on Allow Scripted initiated Windows without size or position constraints

(b)Select the Enable option on Websites in less privileged web content zone can navigate into this zone

(3)Reset to Low on Reset custom settings

(4)Click on OK

  1. Select the Privacy tab

a)Make sure to uncheckTurn on Popup Blocker.

b)Click on Advanced button,

i)Check on Override automatic cookie handling

ii)Accept First-party Cookies and Third-party Cookies

iii)Check on always allow session Cookies

iv)Click on OK

9)Select Advance tab from Internet Options

a)Uncheck Enable native XMLHTTP support

b)Click on OK

10)Log into using Single Sign On

11)Once logged into Hyperion workspace, click on File from the main Hyperion menu. Select “Preferences…”.

a)Under the General icon, use the drop-down under Content and select Explore

b)Click on OK to close Preferences window
