Granny Great
I want to contribute to my grandmother
A few words of encouragement to honor her-
My grandmother Minnie Lee Sims
Was an inspiration to me.
She was a person who could speak her mind
About everything and didn’t care how said it.
She lived a long life of 94 years old.
She was a true living legend to all of us.
She will never be forgotten,
Her spirit is embodied in us.
We are apart of her in each and every way.
My grandmother was a giving person.
Anything she had, she would give it to you.
This lady was more than a grandmother to me
She was a friend, leader and caregiver.
She had a remedy for everything.
She said turpentine would cure anything,
Just put some in a saucer under your bed.
That lady had an answer for everything.
That’s why I loved her so dearly.
She will greatly missed by all that loved her.
