  1. Men’s Diamond Buckles Challenge v Petone Central – Tomorrow Friday 2 February at 1 pm at Hutt. Please come along and support John Forde and Russell Dive.
3. Reminder: Volunteers Required for Sanitarium Weetbix TRYathlon on Thursday 15th March 2018

Earlier John Forde advised that we have been given an opportunity to raise some funds for the Club by marshalling at the Sanitarium Weetbix TRYathlon on the morning of Thursday 15th March 2018.
He received a good response but a few more helpers would be handy.

    Men’s Fours and Mixed Fours Plate have been decided since the last Bulletin.
    Men’s Fours:
    Winners: Mel Hrstich (S), Brian Toomey, Michael Crooke and Stuart Harvey;
    Championship Fours Plate (Mixed):
    Winners: Bill Jackson (S), Dennis Blacklaws, Warwick Stoupe and Frank Przychodzko (how’s that for spelling Frankie!)
    Women’s Championship Pairs Post Section and Final is set down for Saturday (3 February) or as arranged by Skips.

  1. Masonic (Freemasons) & HBC Charity Tournament
    This Annual Charity Event is to be held at the Hutt Bowling Club, 6 Myrtle Street, Lower Hutt Sunday 18 March 2018, commencing at 9.30 am (Postponement Date 15 April).
    This Season the targeted charity is Wellington Free Ambulance which requires funding for maintenance of equipment and procurement of replacements in order to maintain their services.
    The aim is to raise upwards of $2,000 from the Bowls Tournament with at least a matching subsidy being added from other Masonic benevolence sources.
    The Tournament format is a Progressive, Mixed, 3 Bowls Triples Gala. The Entry Fee of $22.50 covers a tasty lunch and Prizes for the best scoring Leads, Twos and Skips on each of the 2 Greens.
