HPHOA November 2016 Meeting

Meeting called to order at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Moore’s home.

Treasurer’s Report:

Operating Account balance: $27,842.88

Reserve Account balance: $35,934.61

If you have not paid your Semi-Annual Dues, please pay ASAP to avoid a late fee. Dues are due upon receipt. Late fees are added after 30 days.

Motion to accept Treasurer’s Report: Approval Votes: 5-0.

Old Business:

Security Camera Update: Wiring at Recreation area is finished and cameras are operational.

New Business:

**The Hudson Pointe HOA Annual Meeting is Monday, December 5th at 7pm at the Daycare. Our accountant, Paul Dowens will be in attendance.

ALL ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND!**

We have Board elections coming up: There are three incumbents up for re-election.

Ballots are mailed with the October minutes for the three positions on the Board. Elections will be held at the annual meeting on Monday, December 5th 2016.

The Spooky Halloween Trail Walk was cancelled due to rain. We will do this again next year. If there is rain next year, the Daycare will serve as our rain location. Thanks to those that helped plan.

New Business, cont:

Hudson Pointe HOA Facebook page: We started a Facebook group so that we can share good news and information on Social media! This site will also connect current neighbors and those neighbors who might not have connected in the past. Please search for Hudson Pointe Homeowners Association. Please share this with your neighbors. Your acceptance to the Closed Group will need approval.

All residents must take care of their lawns. We encourage you to keep your lawn healthy and maintain its appearance.

The Board wants to remind all residents that there is to be “NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES ON HPOA’S TRAILS OR FIELDS”. We have received many complaints of ATV’s, Golf carts and dirt bikes on our fields and in the streets. These vehicles are ruining our property and pose safety concerns to those operating those vehicles and to others.

The Board also wants to remind you that if you are looking to do property modifications and/or exterior home updates (including sheds), you need to consult the Architectural Committee for approval.

Correspondence​: A homeowner called inquiring about a neighbor cutting trees.

The Board does not have any control of the cutting of trees on a homeowner's property.

Board would also like to remind all association members that when walking their dogs. Dogs should be leashed and owners should pick up after them.
