StudyBlue Access

The purpose of this website is to provide a study opportunity where you can create your own study aides and flashcards and access them using Smartphones, Facebook and other social media. You are also able to share study guides with other students in the group. I have posted helpful vocabulary flashcards to this website, broken down by the units within the course, to help you study and learn biology-specific vocabulary. To use this website, follow the sign-up instructions below:

How to sign up for StudyBlue:

1.  Go to www.studyblue.com

2.  On the home page, there are two links to join StudyBlue: you can either access it from the “Join Now” link on the left of the top toolbar, or click the “Join Now- It’s Free!” link next to the introductory video.

3.  You will be redirected to a page where you can choose to “Join with Facebook”, “Join with Google”, or “sign up with Email”. By joining with Facebook, you have the ability to post your progress to your profile page. Whichever you choose, they will ask you your name, your email address, a password of your choice, your birthday, and to check a box stating that you have read and agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Once you have filled out the information, click “Join StudyBlue”.

4.  Once you are redirected to the “Welcome to StudyBlue” page, click the “I’m a student.” box.

5.  On the next page, type in “White River High School” in the School Name field (and select it) and “Biology” for the Class Name field (and select the Biology-Falk or Honors Biology-Falk). Once you have selected each, it will prompt you to give your phone number IF you would like them to send you the free app. This is not required; if you do not wish to have it, click below the Phone Number field that says “No app for me.”

6.  The next page will likely ask you to share your new account access on social media sites; if you choose not to participate in this, click the “Skip & Study” link below the graphic.

7.  Once you are logged in, the “Backpack” lists the classes you’ve joined while the “Shared Materials” tab shows the different flashcards available to you. Click a unit and get to work!
