Graphing Assignment

Who doesn’t like visuals!? When people gather any kind of data it is always nice to see a picture of the data, rather than read it in sentence form. A way to show the data you have gathered, you can create a graph to show your findings. For this assignment, you will need to choose two different categories and take surveys to gather numbers in order to create two different graphs. You can choose your own categories or you can choose one of the following categories: type of pets, number of siblings people have, pairs of shoes people own, favorite sport, or anything else that will give you a number. Based on the research you have done you will use the directions below and create the graphs by using Microsoft Excel. The goal is to get us familiar with the Excel program, as well as learn that we have different tools we can use to enhance our data.
