Security?

“SecureGive has contracted with McAfee Secure to run daily scans of the SecureGive servers and to alert us of any vulnerability in the system. The SecureGive software is encrypted with 256-bit encryption and our payment gateway software is PCI certified with 256-bit encryption.”

How much time does this take?

Setting up a profile and making a first time donation takes about two minutes. Once an account is created, it only takes about 15 seconds to make a donation!

Should I use eChecking, Debit, or my Charge card?

eCheck ACH is a transfer from your checking account to ours. The fees are much less, so your donation nets a greater sum. Debit cards work much the same way, except the fees are greater because of the added provider interface. Credit cards are assuming a debt until they are paid off, so the fees are the highest.

I don’t see an eCheck ACH option in SecureGive?

On the Billing Information page, click the Payment Type drop down menu and select “eCheck ACH” (listed directly below “Card”).

Can I still give through the offering box?

Yes!! Whatever method of giving you choose – Cash, Check, eChecking, Debit, or Credit – is a decision between you and the Lord. We are providing these various giving pathways to remove barriers to generosity and faithful stewardship. You decide!

Will SecureGive keep my payment information on file for future use?

On the Billing Information page, if you check the box, “Save as a default payment method”, SecureGive will keep your payment method ready for your next transaction!

Can I set up recurring giving?

YES! You may set up recurring donations using the payment method of your choice.

Online vs Mobile App?

The same functionality is available through either online giving on your computer or an app from the AppStore or Google Play. Unfortunately, an app is not available for Blackberry or Windows phones.

Credit Cards Accepted?

SecureGive accepts MasterCard, VISA, American Express, and Discover.

What about my tax receipts?

Immediate receipts will be emailed to you at the email address you provide in your account. For tax purposes, all deductible donations, electronic or otherwise, will be consolidated into your annual giving statement.
