The PTCO has exciting news!!!! Several of you already noticed we have a Grizzly Spirit Rock in front of the school, near the Marquee. We have a fantastic opportunity for you to rent-the-rock and display a positive personal message to a student, teacher or a fun note to the community. It’s only $20 to celebrate a birthday or big win; wish someone good luck or safe travels or thank a special teacher. All proceeds benefit the school through a variety of programs.

How can I rent the rock?
It’s simple, use this Sign-Up Genius link (Rent The Rock - AWE Sign Up) and reserve theactualdate you want. You may begin painting at 4pm on the daypriorto your reservation. For example if you want it June 5, sign up for that day and you can begin painting at 4:00 on June 4th.
How much does it cost to rent the rock and how do I pay?
$20 during the school year and $10 during the summer. 100% of your donation goes to AWE PTCO. Payments are accepted through(PayPal)
What supplies do I need?
You will typically need 2 cans of spray paint for the base coat, and additional paint for your design. For more intricate designs, craft paint, foam brushes and even stencils work great.
Can I reserve the rock for any reason?
You can reserve the rock for anything!! Your child’s birthday, thank a teacher or staff member, congratulatory events, good luck for competitions and tournaments, recognizing milestones, etc.… The rock is a fun way to spread any kind ofpositive message. Please note that profanity and political messages are not permitted.
What if I reserve the rock and the weather is bad?
The rock can be towel dried and the paint will adhere even in rain and snow. You can always revisit the calendar and pick the next available date.
Can the PTO paint the rock for me?
The PTCO, staff and AWE administration is not responsible for painting the rock. You can have a family member, friend or neighbor paint it for you.
What if the rock is already reserved on the date I want?
Rock reservations are on a first come, first serve basis so make your reservations NOW!! If the date you want is already reserved, choose the next available date, either before or after.
What if I’m painting the rock and someone shows up thinking they reserved it?
