How memberships can help build your club and community

Affiliation reform has created a great opportunity time to modify, diversify and innovate how your club engages with current members, potential members and the community. By considering new types of memberships, and therefore a new structure, your club could see cost barriers removed, an increase in valuable benefits, an increase in membership as well as better connections with local businesses.This is the perfect time for everyone in your tennis community to get court up in tennis.

The following information presents memberships examples to help build and support club communities. Each example has its own merits and should be considered and compared to your existing membership offers.

Adults
Parents Club / All parents join for a nominal fee. Suggest to use this membership to support the club e.g. these funds go to the end of year BBQ, supporting children programs, hitting wall etc. / $5-10
Platinum Parents Club / Parents have access to free court hire on weekends and 1 free cardio session. We also recommend that you add a competition element, any Platinum Parent goes into the running to win e.g., Tickets to one of the Australian Open Series. / $10-15
Adult
(Full membership) / Access to the courts at anytime during the week outside of coaching and midweek ladies times. Offered from 12 years and over, suitable for those wanting to play competition tennis. / $20-40
Adult (Mid week) / Access to the courtsMonday – Friday, outside coaching and midweek ladies booked times. Offered to 12 years and older, suitable for those wanting to play competition tennis. / $15-25
Adult Lessons / 10% off all coaching and permanent half-price court hire. / $15-20
Adult Leagues / Able to play adult leagues and receive discountson programs and local benefitse.g.cardio tennis, local coffee shop, supermarket, etc. / $20-30 (included in season fee)
Mid Week Ladies / Able to play mid-week ladies competition and receive free ladies coaching twicethroughout the season.Ladies get to join a cardio session three times per year when is best suitstheir team or them individually.This membership also links to local businesses e.g., discounts at the coffee shop. / $15-25 (included in season fee)
Cardio Plus / 25%off cardio session - five sessions purchased in bulk plus 5 free PT session from local gym etc. / $20-30
Seniors / For members 65 years and over. These members have the same rights as full members, but at a reduced membership fee. / $25-50
Juniors
Hot Shots Club / Club coaching, every child signs up usingan enrolment form.This also includes entry to first hot shots league/tournament free. / $10-20
Mini Me / For children 10 years and under, a great way for clubs to start involving children in and around the club activities e.g., Intro to Hot Shots days, 25% off holiday camps etc. / $10-20
Junior Leagues / Junior leagues plus coaching. / $15-25 (integrated into coaching fees)
Student / Students (full time under 25). Access to the courts at anytime during the week outside of coaching and midweek ladies times. Offered to 12 years and over, suitable for those wanting to play competitions tennis. / $15-25
Schools Club / Children who are in a school program who do not attend coaching at the club, only before and after school, benefit of being a schools club member is 25% off holiday clinics and free community play sessions – get them back to the club! / $10-15
All
Social Play – Day / Cheap social tennis prices during the day and cheaper court hire. / $12-15
Social Play – Night / Cheap social tennis prices at night and cheaper court hire. / $15-18
Court Hire / For members who only want court hire, not play or compete with in club or lessons (half price court hire at all times). / $10-20

Holiday programs / Camps held during the school holidays. Children
