IMPORTANT: Please ensure you arrive by the time listed in your area of service. If you are unable to do your rostered duty, please ensure you inform both your service area’s team leader and the events coordinator (Rylee McMurdo).

How do I contribute to Sunday services?

Set up:

  • Arrive by 2pm
  • Help to bring in all equipment from cars and trailers.
  • Move anything unnecessary off stage and move any necessary equipment on to stage.
  • Un-stack chairs in auditorium and set-up in a formation approved by the events coordinator.
  • Move foyer tables into appropriate positions approved by the events coordinator.
  • Ensure Judi has all containers moved inside and assist with any heavy lifting or set-up
  • Connect with kids team leader to unpack and set-up any toys or equipment & move furniture.
  • Assist the staging and décor team with any foyer or stage set up.

Ushers:

  • Collect the offering & return giving bags to sound desk.
  • Know where communion emblems are before service.
  • Return trays & communion items to kitchen area.

Communion:

  • Prepare a 5-8 minute testimony or teaching.
  • Collect a run-sheet from the events coordinator before the service.

Hosts:

  • Welcome new people and give them the new people card.
  • By the end of the evening have new people fill out a welcome card and give to John H.
  • Help people to find appropriate seats.
  • Host the new people during café and connect them with other members, pastors, and link leaders.

Café:

  • Ensure you arrive 15 mins prior to the service & assemble your food appropriately to serve on cafe tables.
  • Collect your crockery after the service.

Pack down:

  • Stack auditorium chairs in right back corner.
  • Assist with carrying sound/music equipment to appropriate vehicles.
  • Assist café team with pack down.
  • Pack up and store foyer speaker, TV & events containers.
  • Put all school tables back in original positions.
  • Stack all blue/red floor cushions back in appropriate area.
  • Assist with packing all Epic kids toys, activities, & décorinto the appropriate car where necessary.
  • Coordinate vacuuming and cleaning of any occupied rooms.
  • Assist the rostered foyer designer with packing down all decorating accessories.
  • Ensure black pillars are stacked behind the black background curtain.
  • Ensure outside areas are clean.
  • Ensure divider wall in auditorium is reassembled after stage pack-down.
