1. ENTRY FEES

1.1Competitors:

- R170-00 per weight/age category

- Development players: R85-00 per weight/age category

1.2FREE entry for Group 5 competitors in SAME WEIGHT CATEGORY in Group 6.

1.3Spectators: R5 per person / R20 per family

2.ELIGIBILITY

All players/coaches/officials must be registered with Judo South Africa prior to the commencement of the tournament. (Provide proof by way of Record book or Receipt from your Provincial/National Registrar/ Chairperson/Coach/Secretary).

• Working Committee – JSA clothing only.
• Referees – as per IJF rules
• Technical officials – black pants, white shirt, red jacket (if not in possession of red jacket, BLACK jacket), shoes (no tekkies), no headgear

-Coach cards will be issued at the NRE to ACCREDITED coaches ONLY!

NON-ACCREDITED coaches will NOT be allowed to coach!

10.TOURNAMENT RULES

Please note that if a Judoka chooses to enter into more than one category/weight (where applicable), he/she must enter into his/her OWN CATEGORY & WEIGHT first, before entering into a second one!

GROUP / NATIONAL RANKING EVENTS
9, 10 Years / (1) Own weight/age category only.
The only exception that will be made is at last NRE of the year where younger players born 2007, i.e. (turning 9 the following year) may participate to accumulate points for the next year only.
11, 12 years / (1) Own weight/age category only
3 13, 14 years / (1) Own weight category in Group 3.
(2) Same weight category in Group 4.
4 15, 16, 17 years / (1) Own weight category in Group 4.
(2) One weight category higher in Group 4.
(3) Own weight category in Group 5.
(4) One weight category higher in Group 5.
5 18, 19, 20 years / (1) Own weight category in Group 5.
