ThescholarshipprovidescourseexpenseassistancetoaPierceCollegestudentwhoisenrolledatJBLMandiscurrentlyservinginanyofthe USArmedForces(Army,AirForce,Navy,Marines,CoastGuard,NationalGuardorReservesservingonactiveduty).

Applicationswillbe reviewedbytheHorstandCarolMarschallScholarshipCommittee.Scholarshipswillbe awardedtocovercoursefees(upto$601)andrequiredtextbooksforonecourseatJBLM.Scholarshipsmustbe usedwithinonecalendaryearofaward.

If awarded the Marschall “Retention” Scholarship students may be funded for up to four (4) terms per year without needing to reapply. (fall, winter, spring, and summer)

CONDITIONS:1.Thesuccessfulapplicantmustwrite athank-younotetothe donoruponreceivingthe award.Ifyouareawardedascholarship,youwillreceivealetterwithfurtherinstructions.

2.Ifyouarecurrentlyreceivingfinancialaidorotherscholarships,thisscholarshipmayaffectyourawardpackage.PleaseverifyyourstatusattheFinancialAidOffice.ThesuccessfulapplicantmustnotifytheOfficeofFinancialAid,inwriting,shouldsheorhe decide(a)nottousethescholarshipor,(b)todropfromthe PierceCollegecourseforanyreason.
