Quote Essay

One of the most important parts of History is Quotes, and their interpretation. In this essay, you are to select one of the quotes I have provided to you. I will also provide the history of why the quote was made to you.

In the First Paragraph: After reading the background provided to you please summarize what happened to lead to the quote you selected. Please include important facts that defined the event and the part the person that made the quote played in the event.

In the Second Paragraph: Please explain the quote and why it was made in relation to the Historical event? What do you think the meaning of the Quote was? Did the Quote foreshadow the outcome of the event before you read it? What do you think the person wanted to say when he made the Quote?

In the Third Paragraph: Choose ONE big event that occurred in your life. Explain the event and what happened. Also explain why the event was so important to you and your life.

FINALLY: Make a quote that you think BEST explains the event and significance in your life.
