BIOLOGY SEMESTER EXAM REVIEW-January 2015

Students should be reviewing and studying their completed review packets from each unit that has been covered: 1. Intro. To Bio 2. Classification 3. Cells 4. Biochemistry 5. Cell Division. These reviews are posted on my web page if the student cannot locate their completed sheets. Studying involves memorizing vocabulary terms and other specific course content (example-4 types of organic compounds), practicinglabeling diagrams (example-cell diagram), and explaining concepts (example-importance of photosynthesis). Students will need to spend a several hours preparing for this type of comprehensive exam.

Topics covered and associated textbook pages:

Scientific Method- Chapter 1

Microscope- Chapter 1

Metric (SI) units- Chapter 1
