In an effort to offer dances that are safe, alcohol and substance free, & comfortable for everyone in attendance, Redlands East Valley has developed this form that we hope parents, guardians, and students will understand and support.

Student: Read the form, print your name, grade and ID above. You must turn in the completed and signed form prior to purchasing your guest’s dance ticket. By signing this form, you agree to be responsible for your guest’s actions and adhere to all REVHS school rules. Have your parent/guardian sign the form in box 1. You must sign the form in box 2.

Guest: Have your parent or guardian read and sign the form in box 3 below. Include an emergency number. Read the form and sign in box 2 below. Have your School Administrator sign this guest pass in box 5 below and attach their business card. Attach a copy of your photo ID. Form must be completed and returned. Allow 5 days for approval before returning to the Finance Office to purchase the ticket. All guests MUST provide a current picture ID upon entering the event. Incomplete forms will not be accepted.

  • Students dancing inappropriately will be directed to leave the dance floor immediately, and students will be directed to leave the facility.
  • Dancing styles that involve touching of the breasts, buttocks, or genitals, or that simulate sexual activity is NOT allowed. When dancing back to front, all dancers must remain upright--no sexual squatting or sexual bending is allowed, i.e. no hands on knees and no hands on the dance floor with your buttocks facing or touching your dance partner.
  • Dresswear: Attire worn by the student should be appropriate for the function they attend. Clothing that is clearly not appropriate, namely see through, extremely brief, that which leaves little to the imagination, or is offensive will result in the student not being admitted. No attire which shows underclothing will be permitted. No refunds will be given under these circumstances.
  • This dance rules form is the only warning that will be given. No further warnings will be given at the dance. If a student chooses to behave inappropriately, the student will not be allowed to remain at the dance.
  • All guests must present a current picture ID at the door in order to enter the dance—NO EXCEPTIONS!
  • All bags and outerwear will be searched upon entry to the dance.
  • Students may NOT bring food or drink into the dance, except with written medical authorization. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
  • REVHS staff members may administer a breath analysis test to ticket holders upon entry in a predetermined pattern. This testing will be done to discourage alcohol and drug use. In addition to the initial use of breath analysis, staff may also administer the breath analysis on reasonable suspicion of use.
  • Refund Policy: 1. If a student is escorted, or asked to vacate the premises at any time before, during or after the dance by violating any of the dance rules, the student is NOT entitled to a refund. 2. If a student is unable to attend the dance due to an extenuating circumstance that can be properly verified, a refund may be considered. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
  • Participants may not leave the dance and return at a later time.

As a guest at a REVHS event, I understand that I am under the jurisdiction of the school and must follow all school rules, including dress code. Failure to do so may be grounds for removal from this event and will jeopardize my host student’s opportunity to attend all future REVHS events. I further understand that I am subject to all aspects of Redlands Unified School District Policy, the California Education Code, Federal, State and Local Law.

Final REVHS approval is required before guests ticket may be purchased by REVHS student. East Valley High School reserves the right to refuse admittance to any guest who does not currently attend East Valley High School. Guests must be at minimum in the 9th grade and/or a maximum age of 20 years old. REVHS student must purchase guest ticket at the same time, or present their dance ticket to the Finance Office to purchase their guest ticket.
