These are the last few days of homework club! Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week are the final days of homework club for the year. Mr. Finnegan and Mrs. Gerber say come on in for a little last minute help.

Haverford High School Jazz Ensemble audition packets are available for any interested 8th grade students. Please see Mr. Gittelman.

If you're hungry after school tomorrow, or if you're feeling charitable - or better still - feeling hungry AND charitable - stop by the connecting corridor and purchase a fresh soft pretzel for only $1. Proceeds go to benefit Team HMS at Saturday's Best Buddies Walk. Talk to a Student Council member about how you can walk too. Teachers, we'll be coming around tomorrow morning to get your special delivery orders - it doesn't get much easier than that. Thanks in advance for your support.

Attention members of the 7th & 8th Grade String Orchestra. The Spring Concert is this Thursday evening, May 14th. You need to take your instrument home on Wednesday since the concert is at the High School. Call time is 6:50. See Mr. Brennan if you have any questions.

8th Graders - Your Hershey Park permission slip with check or money order is due by Friday, May 15 to your homeroom teacher.

Our Freaky Friday Theme this week is twins day. Dress like a friend, or a group of friends to show your HMS spirit.

Listen up HMS! If you like music, dancing and having a great time, be a volunteer at the Senior Citizen Prom. The date is Friday, May 22nd from 5-7. The sign-up sheet is outside of Mrs. McGlone's room, 151. Spend a little bit of time giving back to our community and get a big warm feeling in your heart!

If you have lost your eyeglasses check for them in the nurses' office. Any unclaimed glasses will be donated to the Lion's Club at the end of this school year.

Friday, Student council will be sponsoring the first ever Feature Film Friday. Friday night, at 7:00, our auditorium will be transformed into a movie theater with movie snacks and everything. They are showing The Incredibles. Now you might have seen The Incredibles before, but not like this. They're having a costume contest. Come dressed as your favorite superhero team with your friends or better create your own. They're having a trivia contest, a photo booth, snacks galore, prizes, and other surprises throughout the night! Best of all - admission is free! That's right free!. Money is needed for snacks, however. We hope you can join them for some fun.

Thank you for your generous donations of snack foods for the Ardmore Food Bank over the past two weeks. The Bengal tigers are still in the lead with the Beluga Whales and the Giant Pandas following right behind. For the next two weeks we will be collecting canned food such as soup and beans. Place all food items in your teams bin to have a chance to win a team pizza party! Thank you for helping to feed those who need it most.
