HMA 2015 Pre-Applications Instructions Links for Subapplicants

1.Communication rules: email subject (title) HMA (FMA or PDM) 2015 (Twp. County name) application (project name). Use signatures including telephone numbers, community’s addresses, faxes, etc.

2.PEMA Goal: input and updates all applications into e-Grant based on FEMA 2015 Guidelines before FEMA open Grant applications by end of March to April 15,2015:

Send scanned in copies of your project applications to Julie Yu and Planning applications to Ernie Sable ASAP for review and corrections, interagency- evaluations, etc.

3.FEMA Deadlines: (will publish soon) (possible March or April – May or June 2015, 90 days)

4.E-Grant registration process:

Grant applications should be submitted through the FEMA e-Grant online system

  1. Applicable agencies wishing to apply may log on to:
  1. Click “New User?”, when completed, click the “submit” button
  2. The FEMA portal will bring up another page
  1. Click button entitled “Click here to request new privileges”
  2. Click button entitled “Mitigation e-Grants”
  3. On the next page you will see a page for an ID. Enter S42, and click the “submit” button
  4. You will receive an email when permission to enter the page is granted
  5. Assistance in completing the application is available by logging into the e-Grant system and clicking on “help” at the lower right-hand corner of the home page. (1-877-611-4700)
  6. Attach appendix E:

Eligibility and completeness review check list for Project Sub applicants (always check Yes for technical assistance) and

“blank review check list from FEMA - please fill out” (see following link From FEMA.)
